2008 Guide to Troop Leadership
This is the Troop guide to leadership, positions, responsibilities, duties, etc. This is the end docutment that came from the Sept - Oct 2007 Training all Scouts took on leadership and positions in the troop. Want to know who does what, why, etc. This is the document for you.
Troop Code of Conduct
This is the Troop Code of Conduct agreement that all scouts and parents of scouts must agree to and sign. There must be a signed copy of this on file with the troop before any scout is allowed to go on any trip or campout with the troop.
Troop Photo release
This is the Troop photo release form. There must be a signed copy of this on file with the troop before we can post any photos of your scout on the website.
Troop Website Policy
This is the Troop website policy surrounding the site. This explains what we do and do not do in regards to your son, his name, etc. on the website.
Equipment Loan Form
This is the Troop Equipment Loan Form, If you would like to use some equipment for a non troop 167 event you will need to fill out this form and ahve it processed.

Troop 167 Popcorn Transfer request form
Ok so you are all set to go sell popcorn and just need to get some popcorn to take with you, so you can deliver it as you sell it. Or you already collected a lot of orders and now want to deliver to those customers. Well Fill out this form and contact one of our Popcorn Kernels and they will give you want you have asked for on the form. It is that easy.

Camping Information/Forms:
Class 3 Health and Medical Form for Camping
Any Scout, Leader or Parent who is attending with the Troop on a campout, Council requires us to have this form filled out before they can attend camp. Scouts need to have had a physical within the last 30 months (Scouts can use this for for up to 3 years).
Parents and Leaders whom are 40 or over Must have a physical and this form filled out EVERY YEAR, If you are lucky to between 18 and 40 it needs to be completed every other year.
Class 1 and 2 Health and Medical Form
This file is now a online editable file for the parent portion.
Class 1 is the first page, it is valid for 12 months for trips lasting less then 72 hours as long as that trip/campout does not require a class 3. A Class 2 is both pages filled out with a valid Doctors signature on the form in the proper location. This form is valid for anybody under the age of 40 and is good for 36 months from date of Doctors signature. If the Doctor does not sign the form in the proper location then it is not valid. A Class 3 is required for anything over 71 hours.
Parents and Leaders whom are 40 or over Must also have a physical and a class 3 form filled out EVERY YEAR, see above.
Merit Badge Information:
Finger Lakes Council Adult Merit Badge Counselor Application
If you are 18 years or older you can be a Merit Badge Counselor. The Steps to becoming one are easy. First you fill out a adult application and submit it to the troop leadership for approval. Once that is accepted you fill out this application while picking up to five Merit Badge's (that's all Finger Lakes allows) that you want to be a Counselor for. We submit that to council for approval along with your records showing that you have taken the Youth Protection training. This training can be done through the BSA's Online Learning Center at http://olc.scouting.org. you are also required to take the Merit Badge Counselor Training which is also online but can be done after this is submitted.
